On Sunday 18 May we had the Spring Triples which once again attracted entries from fourteen visiting clubs. We witnessed some fine displays of bowling with two of our club teams being amongst the prize winners. We also had another successful raffle which raised almost £200.00. Abbey organised both raffles which were manned by Pat H, who has to be congratulated as she is a long time member and has always worked hard along with her late husband Arthur, ably assisted by Pauline. Our ladies again worked incredibly hard providing meals for forty diners and serving tea. Thanks go to Olwen, Hazel, Jan, Jackie and Gloria. Thank you to everyone who helped in any way to make the day a success.
