Dear Members 

 

We want to thank those players who turned up this afternoon in unsettled weather to play our annual Lads vs. Lasses match.  Unfortunately the game came to an abrupt end when we had a heavy rain storm.  The result at that stage was Lads 53 Lasses 32.   The lasses have to thank Bob G; Bob Y and Harry B (who was appropriately dressed) for playing for them.  The two teams who won the most ends were Lads: John B; Ray A; Peter H; and Terry M. Lasses: Bob Y; Jackie K; Bridget J and Harry B.

 

Thanks also to our social members and friends who turned up to support us. The rain stopped and everyone enjoyed strawberries and cream and cake.   Thank you to everyone who made the afternoon possible.
